Ex-racer-turned-entrepreneur Bob Jane dreamed of an F1 race in Melbourne. He developed a huge ‘thunderdome’ and created the AUSCAR series, ‘delivering’ NASCAR action to Australia. The total race length is 307.574 kilometers at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne.
